Question to yall...

Regarding Submission software. I currently own one, its called IBP (which has lots o features in it) and was wondering what you all think about using such a piece of software for submission purposes.

And the amount of time to resubmit your pages to the engines...

Is there some kind of formula that is best here?

Thanks

Hey

Great question.

I personally have used SEO studio to initially load the larger engines with my pages. I then rely on the bigger ones to feed the smallers SE's.

This has worked really well for me in the past.

I know that Koz and Paz are currently revieving WEB CEO, not sure of its features, but i am sure they will come back with some feedback.

IBP is excellent software in general for SEO purposes. As submission tool it also serves it's purpose. I personally do not make use of submission software more than once, can't see the point in doing so.

Submitting additions in news content for example does make sense to me and I am currently looking at options there. Will probably test prwizard and a couple of others for that purpose.

Hi. Web CEO is definatly my favourite SEO software right now. It covers everything from from submissions, ppc campaigns, ranking reports, link checks, finding partners, etc...

You can also schedule ALL your tasks to be done automatically :score10:

It also offers advice on how to optimise your pages, but I guess optimisation methods are a matter of opinion now days! They also assign you a support "angel" who (trust me I've tried it) responds to your queries immediately.

Try it out at www.webceo.com/

cheers, Koz

Yup, we're still evaluating Web CEO and will do a review article next week and maybe compare it with IBP, but they're pretty different beasts.

It's all very well using software to submit to the meta search engines, but I don't think you can beat a supplementary campaign of free directory submissions, article submissions and blog pings and trackbacks (and maybe very targeted reciprocals). You can control the anchor text and context/relevance so much better.

Cheers,
Paz.
