Highest paying keywords

Hi,

I found yet another site that lists the highest adsense paying keywords and thought people might be interested. (The site uses pop ups - make sure you don't open it in IE).

I'm not sure where they get their data from but I was very suprised to see so many financial terms in there (eg mortgage-related and debt consolidation). Looks like it's getting a little competitive in those markets for sure.

One thing that was particularly interesting was the top 50 keyword click through rates:

"Hotels" "flights" and "cars" are really tricky keywords because they look pricey and have an enormous number of searches and click through rate.

The site's really about high paying keywords, but if you're bidding too, there's some food for thought in there.

I'm so disapointed that there is anyone actually placing bids on words like "peritoneal mesothelioma". There is no good reason to make money off another's suffering. :evil:

But on a lighter note, I'm suprised a word like s*x (can I say it here?) is so cheap ($0.38 CPC). :shhh:

well thats really creative to bid on keywords. but if search engine got idea of this is happening then it will be consiquenial for those sites.

I would agree to that, it would just make the sites to be just out of the bounds of their search proximity. I think that it would be better to opt for a straightforward process as it is sure to yield better results in the long run, as following the other way would just lead to more complexities and problems.
