Just about everyone I know will tell you that SEO Book's Keyword Suggestion Tool will group together singular and plural versions of a key term. I've considered this true because when looking for estimated searches for a term usualy the tool will tell you either the singular or the plural has zero estimated searches. But today I noticed that it ACTUALLY gave me the two different values! Is this an improvement in the tool or am I missing something?

Has anyone else seen this?

I've yet to see this, but wasn't Overture (what Seobook tool uses as a data source) bought out by another comapny as Yahoo stopped supporting it?

As far as I know Overture belongs to Yahoo!, bought them in July 2003...

If I remember correctly Overture was grouping singular and plurals for a while, I think I picked up the same with Google's keyword research tool.

Yes I've seen this too in the last few weeks. Last I heard Yahoo got fed up with the tool because too many people were using it for SEO research and not registering. It's possible that someone took over it, but in any case I usually optimise for the plural and expect to rank in Google for the singular as well in most searches.

I'm using Paid keyword discovery right now. As of now this tool is good but I hope this tool could have multiple keywords query. I hate to query the keywords one by one just to get suggested keywords.

Hi Jen,

Welcome to the forum. can I ask, does the paid keyword discovery tool cover UK or SA english language searches. Most of the tools I've seen are US english only.

Cheers,
Paz.
