Why google is so aggressive in marketing?

why google is so aggresive in markenting?I have seen that every small website is having google as internal search engine, is it feeling insecure that it will lose its current position?

Umm... That's like asking why Coca Cola or Pepsi is still making commercials when their brands are very recognizable.

I guess it is always a safe approach to opt for aggressive marketing in order remain visible in the eyes of customer...the more visible you are, lesser is the chance of you getting disappeared from customers' memory.

Google is so aggressive, because he wants better than Yahoo, but it does not seem to realize that Yahoo is better than Google. You seem to always get a good result so they can divert good amount of visitors and their sales can be increased. That's why Google is having more in marketing, since it is the only thing to get good results.
