I think Glen means a MOD to make the forum more search engine friendly, with url rewrites etc.

These days I don't think it's so important to rewrite urls, and the vBulletin is pretty search engine friendly out of the box.

But I think many people in the field would expect an SEO forum to have all the bells and whistles - we should think about it.

Relevant replacements

Make pages more direct for ads

All pages such as new post etc all get created into 1 301 directed thread, spreading PR better and giving better chance of ranking for that keyphrase

I ranked for "google improving" after the 3rd day :p

LOL well we wouldn't have a "forum suggestions" category if we were bothered about a few ruffled feathers.

I'll certainly have a look, I'm especailly interested in the search engine friendly archiving features. A few of our old pages have gone supplemental already!
