Weekly fluctuations

Here's an interesting scenario that I'm trying to figure out:

the serps for 4 of the sites i'm working on (all related) change quite a bit on every monday (ie, the rankings often drop) yet gradually return to 'normal' (ie, my sites doing very well :p) by friday.

I can't seem to find a reason for this. It's a cycle that started up a few weeks ago and doesn't end. Every monday morning, rankings are bad. by friday, they're pretty much back to normal. At first I put it down to the weekly algo tweaks/changes, however it shouldnt always result in the same set of events.

Does anyone ahve any clue what is going on?

I have experienced something very similar. not sure what is is, google seems to be doing some sort of rollback after its weekly index

Every week we also find change in our ranking but it normal 2 or 3 position up and down. It is sure that there is fluctuations in each week time
