Hi everyone

I was asked today my opinion about the www.montecasino.co.za site. Needless to say I was shocked, rather horified that a company of that size can actually put something like this live! I never, I mean never flame others but this was just to much for me... :oops:

Wow, I must say that i have never visited this site before, possibly because i didnt find it,
There is a massive opportunity missed here, in terms of e-crm and seo, in terms of getting bums in seats at the casino and projecting the great image, and decor that the casino has.

I love seeing things like this, as it is a huge opportunity to grow.

What completely amazed me was the fact that they are using a framed site but the entire site loads in this frame. The weird font sizes and graphically bad design is not my main complaint. Hopefully it is just a temporary glitch, but it proofs to me that South Africa needs to be informed about these seemingly small issues that will prevent them from having any success online. I would love to see this site's log files to see if they have any referrals...

LOL.. well montecasino.com rank for their own domain name, but that could well change after this thread gets spidered.

There's not a great deal of text other than the navigation overhead.

This page, for example, is such a wasted opportunity:

They're using an implementation of javascript which means that the sub-pages will take an eternity to be crawled. When they are eventually crawled, the lack of text content will make it very unlikely that the sub-pages will be indexed.

Terrible site...

Please get someone to fix it quickly, that's just insane...
