Blogging spam is crazy

I just went out with my mates for an hour, came home and had another 137 spam comments caught by akismet, 37,000 in total

Yeah it's automated, they lock onto the trackback and comments feeds.

A lot of them have links that point to edu domains with broken bulletin boards and the like. The spammers post the link to their site there and try to use blogs to get the edu page indexed in Google.

I make it my business to notify the owners. They usually act the same day.

If i checked all he spam comments and tried notifying people about them I would never get any work done! Just delete them and forget it, Hopefully they will learn one day...

well you just need to use any software that delete the spam or you can place check on your blog that with keyword or just 2 3 words in comment is not allowed. so peoplke would preferably avoid this.

Well just some software to remove spam, or you can write a blog with only two key word or words in March, is the comment allowed. so people would rather avoid.
