Morning All,

Is there a tool out there that will tell me where my site ranks for a particular keyword?

I am currently manually checking the pages and then adding them up. Not the best way especially if my site is on the third page. I only have 20 digits ;)

Hi Gavin,

there are lots of online tools, but they are biased toward the .com search engines, and I'm guessing you are interested in the South African search engines too.

There's a trial version of Web Ceo (www.websiteceo.com/) that allows you to set up ranking searches in all the different international search engines. You can only do 5 searches at a time though with the free version.

There are lots of other goodies that come with the software though as you'll see when you set it up.

I would still do manual searches from time to time though - you can't beat a manual inspection of the SERPS to learn about SEO.

Cheers,
Paz.

Yep, got to agree with Paz there. If Web Ceo is not your style, you can also give IBP (http://www.axandra.com) a go.

Web CEO is my favourite. I suggest you give it a go - their support "Angels" are great too.

also try Search Engine Genie (http://www.searchenginegenie.com/google-rank-checker.html)
