Thank you for your kind words Blazingpie ^^. We're doing our best to make a change in the hosting industry down here - to bring standards that are acceptable on an international level. Too bad we can't do it about telecommunications :(
Welcome

Hi, Sure no problem. I am literally always on the move and also a part-time student - not to mention the fact that I sometimes deal with some of my techs who are overseas, etc - would it not be easier for you to mail me your requirements at

ravenservers.

I would be happy to assist you personally with any solution you require - please note I only specialise in international hosting (although a local service is on the cards) :)
I'd be happy to hear from you.
Best wishes

HEE HEE ( WAIT FOR IT )
ok here goes,
Im looking for a high speed host that i can throw a couple of proxy sites onto,
I need min 300 Gigs per month, ultra quick and only about 50 mgs space,
You also need to understand what a proxy is, do you !!!

Hi,
Yes, this has to be the third request I have had this month for proxy hosting ^^. I know very well what a proxy is and I also know very well the legal implications ;)
What frightens me as an admin is:
couple of proxy sites
Proxy sites usually use hectic resources - much more than a shared environment could ever handle without becomming unstable.
OK to start of - 300 Gigs per month that's a serious amount of bandwidth, that's nearly hitting the max for Virtual Private Servers.
Secondly - most public proxies are used for illegal purposes - usually not to the creator's intent but it gets abused and then the datacentre is called in and the server reported as abuse. This very reason causes most data centres to not allow proxy hosting.
Due to the nature of this request I could -maybe- arrange for a solution for you, but I would need to know specifics, such as:
- Is this a private or a public proxy? If public, how many users would be logged on at any time? I am unwilling to support more than 4 users at once on any proxy I host (should I go along with this).
- What sort of proxy is this? Is the proxy a SOCKS proxy or just a normal HTTP proxy? If it is an HTTP proxy, is it merely a PHP script that displays the site or is it a true HTTP proxy (i.e. settings in the browser)?
- Lastly, what is your budget? We are talking figures in excess of possibly 40 USD + off the top of my head.
Please note that for the time being, both my data centres do not allow this - I would need to aquire a VPS in a data centre that does. I would need to aquire a VPS even if they did allow it as I am unwilling to have my web host clients on the same servers as a proxy service.
Best wishes
