Hey all

Been browsing the web this morning and did a search for "buy beer" in google.

One of the top ranking sites is gifttodrink.co.uk/x2318.html

Can anyone tell me how this is still allowed to happen, how have they skipped the google filter.

It's a doorway page, using a javascript redirect.

The funny thing is that it's quite a sophisticated redirect function, and is slightly broken so Google has no chance of finding it with their algorithm.

I'd help Google out with a spam report.

I just checked this out. It's crazy that gifttodrink.co.uk get away with this. What's also weird is that when you get through to their site their actual name is Gifts to Drink. They have got pages and pages of keyword heavy pages. I can't believe they still get away with this. I'm looking forward to seeing these guys banned for this. I'll stick to www.lastorders.com for now.

Yeah, the problem is that they have been very sneaky in how they implemented the redirect. Its not a standard.

The reason i think that they are still around on the search engines the keyword they are after is not extremmely competitive.
