I currently run a resource for people who run the phpFoX Community Script, There is currently 183 members and theres about 20-30 new members each week, which is probably because of my sig link in the official forums, but also because i offer good support and modifications for the script ;)
I have decided i;m not too overwhelmed at how niche the community is, and basically I wanted to expand into quite a popular niche, but not one that has too many sites.
My idea is to go to a new domain (a domain that doesnt mean anything, paz will know the domain im talking about ;) ), and expand to create a resource that is for "community admins" a bit like the adminzone, but they seem to focus on forums but i want to be for everyone, and they do seem the only big site in their range so i definitely think there is room for it
Just wondering if people think its worth expanding..but also how im going to avoid losing the community i have. Its a private community that allows people to post modifications for the script, but how i would add these modifications in a generalised community i would have no idea
