I've started noticing Google Checkout logos in Google's sponsored listings eg

I can't help thinking that if anyone running a Adwords campaign signed up to Google Checkout would see their clickthru's increase enormously even if they didn't actually use the Checkout facility on their website.. or just added it to a single product. Anyone want to give it a go. Is it still US only?

Nice find Paz, after doing some reading it would seem this has been happening for a while. It is a really great idea.

The only problem in implementing this is the struggle one would have in convincing a client into changing their current shopping basket technology (something they have likely used for years and trust) over to the Google way.
Still, great feature that I think could bring great value and far better Cost Per Aquisition to most of our client base

Another worry I have is in doing this (and without wanting to Google bash) we are becoming more dependable on Google to supply us with all the key areas of our site and biz online: Shopping Baskets, Analytics, PPC, Organic, A/B Testing etc. Next thing we know, Google will be responsible for our CMS and Page Building.
