Yeah, ive heard of many people trying to do Myspace marketing, but with very limited success. Personally I feel that they weren't trying to adapt their approach to the specific market. Myspace is rather... unique ;)

One complaint is that traffic from there doesn't seem to have the "stickiness" value that would make the effort worthwhile, however that's probably because the people who tried jsut weren't getting the "formula" right. Still, over time Im sure people will learn how to market on there successfully, Myspace marketing is still rather new

I found a recent MySpace article via www.threadwatch.org

that suggested that MySpace users may be older than people imagine. I need to spend some more time looking at MySpace I think, but the pages always give me a headache!

... which seems to contradict the new idea that myspace ppl are older than previously thought :p I mean, if the age group is actually much older, then Myspace happens to have gathered all the older people with the web design abilities of a 12 year old girl on LSD :p
