Has anyone had any dealings with South African affiliate networks? Are there any out there?

There are a few good ones in SA, one is offerforge which is based in JHB and is partof Kowabunga which is US owned.
Growth Online is an affiliate network that is +- 2 years old and based in Cape Town they making good inroads in the AFF market

Welcome to the forum

Do you know of traffic results achieved by these networks.

Are they focused on vertical markets

The income potential is not very impressive on offerforge and earningsonline is not saying a word about commissions. I prefer multi tier programs as well and will not easily deal with no tier providers as there is no chance to get passive income.

I am also interested in knowing if there are any SA affiliate programs that provide income for the life time of their referrals.

for affiliate aggregators you can also try trafficsynergy.com

for affiliate programs that offer lifetime customers you can try safarinow.com. I don't think their program is 2 tier though

Hey Shelley

What would be interesting to know what sort of % of the traffic in South Africa runs through your network.

Hi Daniel

This is the exact reason why we have moved into the South African market. South Africans are not the only ones promoting South African campaigns. The reason we entered the local market was due to a lot of our international affiliates asking us for South African campaigns for their South African traffic. We have also found a lot of South Africans have international traffic, but due to high bank charges, relatively higher minimum threshold levels (example, $250 instead of R250) and long waiting periods on up to 6 weeks to clear dollar based checks, we offer our affiliates dollar based campaigns with rand based payments in rand based prices.

So i am not sure how to answer your question exactly, since South African affilaites are no longer only promoting South African campaigns, and likewise, international affilaites are seeing a lot more value in moving into the South African online market.

Shelly

Hey Guys

To the mods: Could you guys perhaps expand the affiliate section or category? I'd like the see a category for each of the affiliate networks. I'm very impressed with the fact the Shelly is a member here. She is obviously an affiliate manage at trafficsynergy. I'm not the only person on the forum in the marketing realm and at some stage most of us would be interested in affiliate marketing. I'm sure this afternoon I asked her questions that everyone would want to know. By using the forum all the info be submitted and searched at a later stage.

Plus we can get the Aff managers competing for our traffic:)

What do you guys think?

Yeah we're very pleased to have Shelley and Gavin contribute and share their affiliate marketing expertise here; and of course Chatmaster has dabbled there too I hear.... ;-)

We could add another sub-forum; maybe affiliate publishing/advertising/finding partners - let's think about it.... but I can't at the moment because I'm in Germany and don't have the admin password.... LOL

I am happy with that, chatmaster, Paz

Lets have a chat about it and see how we can expand it,

It would be good to have Shelly and Gavin contribute to the requirement too.

Shelly, Gavin, lets hear your thoughts
