How much should I look to pay

To get a script created that people can use on my site to submit their website to search engines, like addme.com

Hi Glen,

I did a quick serarch and found a few free ones. There are tons of SE tools out there for php, here's a couple for you to look at anyway:

I had a quick look and the megablaster one has a few extras such as a keyword digger.

I wouldn't recommend submitting a site to the meta search engines though. Especially a new site with no PR. Some of these "search engines" are just scrapers and a new site could end up being penalised for having "duplicate content".

wow, didnt know there was free ones, the reason i asked is because i noticed submitexpress.com has hundreds of thousands of backlinks thanks to people using their SEO Submit tool, asking if they would simply link back to them as a thank you, and im going to to do the same ;)

Yeah there are lots of precedents for this, Aaron Wall's keyword research tool, most free (or even paid) bulletin boards, the php Link directory script, free blog templates and the list goes on.

It makes sense to share a cool SEO tool though, it's less load on your server and you get pretty tight, on topic links.
