what is the different between instances and backlink.
Good question! I'd say that instances are Google searches for inurl:yourdomain.com as well as searches for yourdomain.com and backlinks you can get from your Webmaster's Tools account. If you don't have a Google Webmaster's Tools account you can get a better idea of your backlinks in Yahoo.

An instance is the software (and memory) that Oracle uses to manipulate the data in the database. In order for the instance to be able to manipulate that data, the instance must open the database. A database can be opened (or mounted) by more than one instance, however, an instance can open at most one database.
Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. In the search engine optimization (SEO) world, the number of backlinks is one indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page (though other measures, such as PageRank, are likely to be more important). Outside of SEO, the backlinks of a webpage may be of significant personal, cultural or semantic interest: they indicate who is paying attention to that page.In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node. Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

You can not do it with the link command.
Use this format
"+www.domain.+com"
