Had similar problems with the BBC site myself. Not had any since I upgraded to FF 1.5.0.9 though!

At first the naive side of me thought that podtech.net was trying to do something sneaky to my computer, then I did a quick google search to notice that others were having the problem aswell, but the mozilla forums had no answers to the problems...shame.

It's a firefox problem. I used to see it a lot when I was browsing sites with a pop-up window. You need to update or switch off the pop-up blocker for that site.
