What's most important pr or links

Hey all... :)

This may be a simple question, but since I am new to the world of "SEO" I am still trying to figure this all out, In your opinion what is most important in evaluating a quality website. Should I look only at google pr or links or a combination of the two?

PR only really means that a lot of sites link to that site. Its an indication of its popularity from the previous PR update. As another SEO once said, "PR is for vanity, rankings are for sanity"

Naturally, as links are what gets you ranking, its links you should worry about. The best links (obviously) come from "quality"/authority sites. Hope that helps answer that question :)

i think, if you want good page rank of your site then links is very important for good page rank because links is very beneficial for increase the page rank. if you have quality links then is very good for page rank.

So my friend,as per my knowledge is concerns,Page Rank is a numerical representation of any domain.The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references.Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it.
If you make backlink in those site which have high PR that your domain surely get good rank,where as the bulk of backlinks in dofollow sites helps you to generate traffic for your domain.

i think that both are the important because page rank is very important for the website. page rank improve only when your site have the backlinks and you have good pr site backlinks that you have get more page rank in google if you have lots of back links so i think page rank and back links are both are important

Links matter more as it brings you more traffic as well as will led to you to the top position. If you have high quality content from the web, then other sites will definitely link to you, so be sure to have that.

SEO PR is more valuable than it is today.
PR has done much to ranking. Ranking is on page optimization and off page optimization. One factor that getting links from quality websites you can affect the ranking. When you link to quality websites can boost your PR, but PR boost that has nothing to do with your rankings. I have seen hundreds of websites a PR but high PageRank.

I think PR is something that comes to all things being equal. I can not focus on PR. Good as SEO article writing blogs, back links and they lead to good public relations. PR is not very important, but it helps a little in assessing the importance of Google sees the site.

One thing Site which has backlinks must have better PR or will have better PR in future. As PR is all about backlinks. But check from where site is getting backlinks if site is getting backlinks from authority well reputed sites then that is better than site having PR 5 with not having huge links.
