Not sure if this is really the right category, just wondering what people think of the following program im about to show:

http://66.116.238.92/video/WebsiteContentWizard.html

Its clearly aimed at people who dont have the sense at what they are doing (or so i think), but you could actually see the potential of being able to create a mass amount of unique content

LOL... I think Google and even Yahoo are getting better at filtering auto-generated content sites, but they rank well for a short time.

As I understand there are people who automate the whole site, domain name registration, server setup, site building and even ftp. Recently there was one guy who created 5 billion sites (http://merged.ca/monetize/flat/how-to-get-billions-of-pages-indexed-by-Google.html) all indexed in Google within 3 weeks.

That Camtesia presentation is pretty cool though. You should make a similar one explaining SEO to beginners.

As I say it looked to me that the content would rank pretty well for a few weeks, but would soon get sussed I think.

I've seen similar sites ranking well for keyword phrases, only to have them disappear in Google and Yahoo later. They have english PhD's working at Google and I'm pretty sure they can flag auto-content generated sites easily from signatures such as sentence length, positions of nouns adjectives and verbs. You can see how that software generates text with a specific "structure" and I'm sure it'll get picked up.

As for the podcast, you could be the first to do an SEO video blog with subtitles... haha

It's not easy doing automated analysis of text content but I think Google are getting better and better at it all the time. It's ironic, but it's my opinion that Google will increasingly move away from link popularity to rank a site and more onto on-page factors as they get more confident about spam filtering.

As you probably know, Google are scanning text books and creating a vast (and controversial) online library; and I think part of that is for their text analysis programme.
