automated blogging

Seems like the automated blogging craze is in overdrive, its amazing that people are selling brand new blogs with a few hundred rss feed entries as 'posts' for three figures

These sites (some of them) dont seem to be doing that badly in the SERP's, so you know me, ill test anything to learn more about it and see the results first hand :wink:

Using a left alone blog i have an automated poster on it, hope to share some results in a few months

(p.s the site is fully indexed (40 pages) with no supplemental results)

Thats very interesting Glen. I can see how site like that will do well, they become sort of a mini news portal (if done well).

My thoughts after 2 days, try it! I have received 90 unique visitors (most from technorati) and 300 pageviews. With almost 3% CTR thats not too bad ;)

Just going to do the site up properly now, maybe some google rankings and a re-design are in order ;)

Wait, so ppl are buying blogs that only have content scraped from RSS, etc? Am I missing something here?

yep, people are, just do a quick search on digiltapoint and you will see a lot of results

if you are doing them personally, or even just trying to increase traffic, make sure they ping technorati with every new post, i have received a lot of traffic that way
