Seems a bunch of twits on Wikipedia don't think that Matt Cutts is 'noteworthy' and want to delete his page. Thankfully though, the response from everyone ahs been 'keep'

ja, i popped in a comment about george bush on his .gov site..
i think he had 11,000 inbounds compared to more than 100,000 for Matt... unfortunately as I was typing Jill got her piece in about the fact that they (wiki) had decided to 'keep' Matts listing, so I felt a tad deflated... nonetheless, I stand by my guns and by what I said in my comment.... I HAVE to learn to type faster... apparently 10 wpm just doesn't cut it anymore ;-)

though I am still on tenterhooks for when i come home (Salt Rock / Ballito) for 3 weeks in feb... had to take unpaiod leave for 2 weeks as there is still no broadband out there... so my 10wpm will be fine while on holiday :-)

yes... Jill whalen.. and I would like to say that most of the wiki is great stuff, just a few editors seem to be a *tad* over-protective/possessive/dictatorial... whatever...

don't worry, your spelling is on par with mine if I'm drowsy from flu/bronchitis meds :p Logically, that means is that you need to be more awake, which means an excuse for more coffee ;)

And yeah, many wikipedia editors are overzealous, though most of the time its because they're armchair-experts puffed up with self-importance because they're able to edit a very popular site.

Its an unfortunate side-effect of having a community effort :(
