Hi,

Can anyone have a look at this site 4 me please? www.applecross.co.uk

We want more visitors from the search engines. We get very few visitors right now LOL. If anybody's got sum ideas what we can do to get more people to come to the site, give us some hints.

Also what do u think of the site? Does it look OK, is it easy to use? Any comments & feedback would be gr8.

Hi Ender

The first thing that I notice is that the site is not optimized for functional and realistic keywords. The page titles indicate that you are targeting keywords like home, company, developments, land, news, gallery and brochure request.

The most important part of SEO is proper site layout and structure. You need to draw up a diagram of the keywords that you wish to target and then amplify these keywords with a related deep site structure.

Your home page should target the prime keyword and then works its way down with related niche keywords. For example

Home --> Property Developers
Company --> Property Development Company
Developments --> Property Developments
Under Developments You should rename the page titles according to the applicable development and not just Development Details.

I think by now you should understand what I am trying to explain.

From your homepage I suggest that you have deep linking into the latest news and latest development. This is good from both an SEO and marketing perspective. Your current homepage are more like an advertising billboard. The homepage is supposed to be the front window of your shop instead. So add some frequently changing marketing stuff on there.

You also need some back links to your internal pages with relevant keywords in the link text. Also ensure that your back links are from related sites, with the main goal to obtain back links from sites that are focusing on the niche keywords that each of your site pages are targeting. This is extremely important to the internal site structure.

I must admit that I like the site design in general; it is clean, functional and creates a professional image.
