for e.g. say you were on the top 10 on google for 'casino' your likely to have a site worth a few hundred thousand pounds (i would imagine)

but how would you 'value' your own rankings...:p

Well I'm not sure what you mean by value; I guess you mean how could you quantify or calculate the worth of a website?

Interesting question. I don't know, I guess if I were to use any criteria it would be the trading value of any business, which is 2.5 times the annual income (assets don't play a role here).

I think the cash value of a site is a little like how the property market in Cape Town go so out of control (average price of house in suburbs is +-R1mill)... the price will be determined by what people are willing to pay for it.

While I agree with koz that you can only get what ppl are willing to pay for it, however I suppose you can try googling to see waht others are offering for similar site so you can get a feel for what the market is like
