Yahoo titles changing?

Big discussion around on Yahoo altering page titles in their SERPS willy-nilly in WMW, SERoundtable and a few other forums. I can't see it on my pages, so wondered what the hullabaloo was all about. Is it an algo glitch, or a new Yahoo! thingey? Anyone?

I keep seeing these references to Yahoo titles changing, but I've yet to see a decent explanation of what they mean.

Yahoo are certainly dropping titles and description snippets from what used to be their site: operator results but is now Site Explorer.... it's been like that for months. Is that what they mean?

I've seen it on a few sites that are ranking really well, so I guess they've possibly knobbled Site Explorer ot it's not working well.
