I thought it to be good idea to start a thread of free tools for keyword research.

Aaron's tool is the first tool since Digitalpoint I feel is worth something as it cross reference Yahoo!, Google and Wordtracker.

This one is real easy to use... and useful. Can't tell it to do Google, Yahoo and MSN at the same time, but will show all your results in the same table.

For what it's worth (not a lot really! haha) I thought I would mention that I created a very simple keyword tool based on the Yahoo Search Marketing data on our site.

You'll find it on the menu on the left.

It really is painfully simple though - nothing particularly clever about it at all.

That said though, if anyone has any worthwhile ideas for a new keyword tool, I'm all ears. I should be able to accomodate more or less anything?
