Seeing as I've never hit the digg homepage with my own damn website () Im lining up a few ideas to officialy try and get on the digg homepage, digg bait if you like

My first idea is 'XX Things Google should Do'

XX being the number of things I can come up with, heres what I have so far:

Stop ranking digg pages higher than the actual source or reference

If somebody makes an article with the same title as a source its referring too, get the source ranking first

Look at spammy key words searches such as 'buy viagra' and you will get to the heart of your search engine spammers

Stop asking if you meant optimization when searching for SEO, in the uk

Google reader show exact no. feeds to read instead of just (100+)

Allow Searching in Google Reader

Feel free to add more, im sure paz has plenty

I know these ideas of mine might sound a bit wack or too much to ask for but here we go:

1) I think it would be very cool if SEOers could registar with google, the relationship would be much better. The purpose for this would be to exclude our searches from statistics. When checking the estimated searches with a tool like SEO book's keyword tool, I wonder how many of those searches are made by SEOs.

2) Wouldn't it be cool if Google started a mass human edited project? They could evaluate every site as a whole and assign keywords that they feel the site should rank for. Kind of like a New Giant Human Edited Google Directory. A massive project that would take ages and would need to employ a couple of 3rd world countries. But it would be more elite.

We'd see results like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA zoos in chicago" :p

LOL well as you all well know I spend a lot of time looking at Viagra serps and I think tweaking an algorithm to sort that mess out would be counter productive to be honest.

Google already have an army of students evaluating site and I have what is supposed to be a Google document with guidelines for evaluating spam. If anyone wants a copy, PM me your email and I'll send it on.

Digg people hate SEO articles, but they like "curiosities". I have an idea though Glenn and am sending you a PM now.

Cheers,
Paz.
