1. Harvest a small business idea. To begin with, in order to start an online small business, you must have a good concept, product or service, and good content. Your small business considerations should include:
1. Drop shipping
2. Importing
3. Joint venturing
4. Selling on eBay
5. E-tailing
6. Internet marketing
7. Information marketing
8. Niche marketing
9. Find other small business owners. Those new to small business need a support group. Other people that you can bounce ideas off and offer your own ideas to. Find people that have been at it awhile and can help you avoid pitfalls they have learned from. Owning your own small business can be very rewarding but there is no reason to go it alone.

Internet marketing is really an advantageous factor to the small business. As it an inexpensive when compared to the ratio of cost against the reach of the target audience. Because exposure, response, and overall efficiency of Internet media are easier to track than traditional off-line media. But there are some limitations like Internet marketing requires customers to use newer technologies rather than traditional media. Low-speed Internet connections are another barrier.

Because exposure, response, and the overall efficiency of Internet media are easier to follow than the online media, traditional. But there are some limitations, such as Internet marketing requires customers to use new technologies rather than traditional media.
